It is said that knowledge is the greatest offering one can make to Bhagavan. Knowledge as an offering has an assortment of benefits – it encourages investigation, search and research; it helps us share, discuss and gain from each other's enquiry and quest. This same knowledge when blended with the spirit of surrender (saranagathi) and humility has a telling effect – on the seeker, the receiver and the world at large. In fact, we believe that knowledge has to aid self- transformation. It has to inspire us to ‘live a good, clean life’ as Her Holiness, Sri Sathguru Swami Gnanananda Sarasvathi says. In talks, seminars, articles and publications the quest for knowledge has always had self- transformation as the focus.

As we steadily march ahead, the SVMF, is guided by that gentle, unassuming, yet powerful sage from Annakara – Her Holiness Sri Sathguru Swami Gnanananda Sarasvathi, who as Her name itself indicates, delights in ordering Her life by Divine Knowledge. A torch bearer for many, Her Holiness is also the founder of the Sri Gnana Advaitha Peetam in 1975.
